Loyola University Recruitment Campaign Design Pitch
Many upcoming graphic design freshmen often think that they have to be proficient in drawing to be a successful designer. Some don’t understand or know what a graphic design career is.
Objective
The objective is to find the most purposeful ways to attract potential freshmen to the Loyola University New Orleans Department of Design. My idea is a zine/poster called the  “Open the Sketchbook” which showcases Loyola Design’s creative process, blending handwritten and digital elements to inspire students to start their ideas here.
Target Audience
High school students who want to study design but don’t fully understand what graphic design is as a profession, as well as those who need in-depth, statistical, and informative facts about Loyola.
Key Messages
Creativity is a process that reflects Loyola Design’s focus on experimentation, exploration, and growth through hands-on, collaborative learning. A QR code will link to the program’s Instagram or design challenges for prospective students.
Look & Feel
The visual direction is “organized chaos,” blending information and creativity to reflect Loyola Design’s exploratory spirit. The goal is to make audiences feel inspired, curious, and authentically connected to               the design process.
